Manage stacked stops in the dashboard

Learn how to view, expand, and manage multiple stops at the same location using the stop stacking feature in the NowGo dashboard.

Updated today

To save time and reduce clutter, the NowGo dashboard collapses stops that occur at the same location with the same action. This means instead of seeing a long list of individual stops, you see a single stack.

💡NOTE: This feature is currently in development. If you would like to be involved, you can register your interest.

Stops stack automatically when they meet these rules:

  • They are sequential within a shift.

  • They have matching actions (for example, all are pickups).

  • They have the same coordinates, address string, and business name.

  • The force_individual_workflow parameter is not set to true.

Viewing stacked stops

In the Upcoming stops tab, a stack displays a range of numbers (for example, 2-6) instead of a single number.

  • Expand a stack: Click Expand stacked stops to see the individual stops indented beneath the parent.

  • Collapse a stack: Click Collapse stacked stops to hide the individual details again.

Managing stacks

When you select a parent stack, you trigger multi-select behaviour.

  • Bulk actions: Actions like hide or lock to shift apply to every stop in the stack.

  • Individual actions: Some actions, like lock order to stop, only work on single stops. To use these, expand the stack and select the specific stop you need.

  • Re-ordering: If you move a stop so it is no longer in sequence with the others, it automatically leaves the stack.
