A shift template can be used to manage driver initiated shifts. It can be considered a blueprint for shifts created by drivers.
Shift templates allow you to dictate the components of a shift.
The following fields can be set for a shift template:
Field | Description |
Shift start | Select the shift start time (start time can be either when a driver starts a shift from the app or a fixed time) |
Shift end | Select the shift end time (end time can be either a specific duration from the start time or a fixed end time) |
Start location | Shift start location |
End location | Shift end location |
Allow driver to add jobs | Allows drivers to add jobs to their shift when enabled |
Allow driver to auto-sequence | Allows drivers to sequence jobs for their shift when enabled |
Allow driver to edit stops | Allows drivers to edit their stops when enabled |
Maximum hours | Set maximum hours for a shift |
Driver 'out of bed' cost | Dictates the minimum amount of time saved before adding another driver to a solution |
Shift efficiency multiplier | Multiplier for the efficiency of the shift |
