  • Providing real-time visibility: Track driver locations and delivery statuses at a glance.

  • Enabling quick adjustments: Easily modify routes and reassign tasks in response to changing conditions.

  • Improving communication: Facilitate seamless communication with drivers through the platform.

  • Generating performance reports: Gain insights into key metrics to optimise your delivery operations.

This article discusses the dispatcher worflow using the dispatcher dashboard. For an overview of the NowGo mobile app, see the mobile app article.

Create shifts:

  • Add shifts for each driver individually by navigating to the dispatch screen on the dashboard and clicking Add โ†’ Add shift.

  • Add shifts in bulk by uploading a CSV file. For more information about using CSV files to upload bulk shift information, see the shifts CSV article.

  • You can also set up recurring shift rules to avoid having to manually enter each shift every day. For more information about recurring shifts, see the recurring shift rules article.

Create jobs:

  • Add jobs individually by navigating to the dispatch screen on the dashboard and clicking Add โ†’ Add job.

  • Use planning mode to review the plan and make any necessary adjustments before you send it out to drivers. Re-order stops, re-allocate jobs, or modify routes as needed.

Dispatch the plan:

  • When you're happy with the plan, click Dispatch plan to send the routes and schedules to your drivers' mobile devices.

Make adjustments as the day unfolds:

  • If more work comes in throughout the day, or driver availabilities change, go back to Planning mode to make further tweaks.

  • Continue to communicate with drivers directly from the dispatch dashboard.
