The NowGo app is a mobile toolbox for managing your delivery jobs. You can use the mobile app to:
See and accept your shifts and jobs.
Get all the job info you need, including pickup and delivery addresses, customer contacts, and special instructions.
Keep your job status up-to-date in real-time.
Navigate to your pick up and delivery addresses.
Collect proof of delivery with signatures or photos.
Record any delivery problems.
Use in-app messaging to talk to dispatchers.
Get automatic notifications for job updates and important messages.
This article provides an overview of the functions of the NowGo mobile app. For some common app hiccups and how to fix them, see the app troubleshooting article. For information about creating a new driver account to allow people to use the app, see the Add and edit driver accounts article.
Supported versions
The NowGo app is supported on mobile devices running Android 13 and above. If your device is running an earlier version of Android, consult the manufacturer to determine if they can supply a compatibility patch to bring it up to a newer version. Additionally, you can attempt to resolve compatibility issues by updating Google Chrome and the Android System Webview application.
Navigating the app
💡NOTE: NowGo is a highly configurable platform. Your version of the app might look different, or have slightly different functionality to that shown here. If you have any questions or concerns about using the app, get in touch.
Stops
When you open the app, if you have an active shift with jobs assigned, you are taken to the stops view. You can navigate to this screen by tapping Stops in the bottom navigation bar.
The stops view shows you your upcoming stops, and the order in which they need to be completed. From here, you can:
Tap the blue Navigate icon to navigate to the stop. For more information about navigating to your stop, see the Completing a stop section in this article.
Tap the orange Call icon to call the recipient. This only works if the recipient has provided a telephone number
Tap the green Pickup icon to complete the pickup, or tap the green Deliver icon to complete the delivery. For more information about picking up and delivering, see the Completing a stop section in this article.
Map
Tap Map in the bottom navigation bar to show a summary of your upcoming stops for the day overlaid on a map.
You can move the map by swiping, or use pinch to zoom in and out. Tap the location icon (marked as 1 in the screenshot) to reset the map to your current location. Tap the zoom icon (marked as 2 in the screenshot) to zoom the map out to show all your jobs, and your current location.
Tap on any of the pins to return to the Stops view, and see the details of the pickup or delivery.
Messages
Tap Messages in the bottom navigation bar to show messages between you and dispatch.
When you receive a new message, a red indicator shows on the Messages icon in the bottom navigation bar, displaying how many unread messages you have. Tap the Messages icon to see new and recent messages from dispatch. Tap each message to open the thread and reply.
More features
To access all other NowGo features, tap the More icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Stop history: shows a list of all completed stops for your current shift.
Settings: change app settings including app permissions, password, and other preferences.
Attachments: view any attachments or documents uploaded by the dispatcher for your current shift.
Diagnostics: shows information regarding the device, operating system, app version, and user ID (UUID).
Logout: logs you out of the app.
What’s new: shows a summary of recent product releases.
Amenities: Opens the National Public Toilet Map.

Completing a stop
Jobs can contain multiple stops. At minimum, they usually have a pickup and a delivery, but there are also options to onboard, offboard, and sort. This section describes a typical stop, where a consignment is picked up from an address, you navigate to the delivery address, and you deliver the consignment.
Picking up a consignment
When you receive a new job, you first need to pick up the items consignment.
Open the NowGo app and login to your account.
Tap Stops in the bottom navigation bar.
Locate the consignment to pick up in the list, and tap the green Pickup icon.
Tap the barcode icon to open your device's camera and scan the barcode of the article you are picking up. If the scan is successful, a green message with the scanned code is shown.
Optional: If you have more than one article to pick up, tap the scanned code and tap Add another article to consignment to scan the other items.
When you have scanned all the items in the consignment, tap the green Pickup button at the bottom of the screen to save and return to the Stops view. The job is now ready to be delivered.
Navigating to a stop
The NowGo app uses your preferred GPS navigation tool to provide navigation instructions to your next stop.
Open the NowGo app and login to your account.
Tap Stops in the bottom navigation bar.
Locate the stop you want to navigate to in the list, and tap the blue Navigate icon.
The app proposes the address shown on the stop as the destination. You can swipe and drag to move the map to a more accurate location, or accept the suggestion. When you are happy with the destination, tap the blue Navigate button.
Select your preferred GPS navigation tool to open the route and provide directions. You can also choose to have the app remember your choice, so you don't need to answer this question every time.
Delivering a consignment
When you have navigated to your delivery address, you can deliver the consignment, and collect a proof of delivery (POD).
Open the NowGo app and login to your account.
Tap Stops in the bottom navigation bar.
Locate the consignment to deliver in the list, and tap the green Deliver icon.
Tap the barcode icon to open your device's camera and scan the barcode of the article you are picking up. If the scan is successful, a green message with the scanned code is shown.
Optional: If you have more than one article to deliver, tap the barcode icon to scan the other items.
When you have scanned all the items in the consignment, tap the green Deliver button at the bottom of the screen.
Select whether you want to collect a signature or a photo as proof of delivery.
Tap Signature to collect a signature. Type the recipient's name and tap Done to open a screen for your recipient to sign. Tap Done to save the signature as proof of delivery.
Tap Photo to collect a photograph. Centre the delivered item on the screen and tap Take photo. You can take as many photos as you need to. Tap Done to save the photos as proof of delivery.
Finalising an unsuccessful delivery
Sometimes, it's not possible to successfully deliver your consignments. In this case, you can mark a consignment as unsuccessful, and return the items to the depot.
Open the NowGo app and login to your account.
Tap Stops in the bottom navigation bar.
Locate the consignment that you are unable to deliver in the list, and tap the green Deliver icon.
Tap the barcode icon to open your device's camera and scan the barcode of the article you are picking up. If the scan is successful, a green message with the scanned code is shown.
Optional: If you have more than one article to deliver, tap the barcode icon to scan the other items.
When you have scanned all the items in the consignment, tap the red Can't deliver button at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm the article number is correct, tap Can't deliver the selected article and select a reason why it couldn't be delivered. If you select Other you can type in the reason manually.
