Identifying long distance stops

Summary: Long distance jobs can be resource intensive. NowGo dashboard users can find out how to identify stops that are far away from the rest of the stops (AKA long distance jobs) in a shift to determine whether a particular job needs attention.

Based on your feedback, you can now quickly and accurately identify jobs where

  • pickup and dropoff stops are far apart; or

  • a driver has to drive a long distance to get to the pickup location.

How to use the controls

Access this filter by clicking the radar icon in the panel located in top left of the dashboard:

From this panel you can toggle whether to sort the drivers/shifts by the furthest outlying job. Additionally you can control the sensitivity of the filter by setting the maximum distance from shift centre.

How to interpret the results

In the sample screenshot provided you can see that the brown shift has two outlying stops (in north Sydney) compared to the majority of the stops which are in south Sydney.

This information is reflected in the driver sidebar panel which counts the number of outlying stops (2) as well as the distance of the stop that is furthest away (23 km).

Similarly in the green shift, there is one outlying stop which is approximately 12kms away from the other stops.
