Accurate address data is essential to getting the best out of NowGo. Some of the problems you might come across when addresses are low quality include:
Solves or sequences not working properly or giving unusual results.
Inaccurate or no ETAs at all on jobs.
You can fix addresses in both the mobile app and the dashboard. This article explains how to find and fix addresses in the mobile app. For information about fixing address in the dashboard, see the fixing addresses in the dashboard article.
Find problematic addresses
The app notifies you of problematic addresses in two different ways in the Stops tab.
If you have stops in your current shift that are missing addresses, a red banner is shown at the top of the screen:
If you have addresses in your current shift that NowGo thinks could have problems, they are flagged a low confidence address, and a yellow banner is shown at the top of the screen:
It is also possible that you might identify addresses that you think are incorrect through manual inspection. For example, in this screenshot, you might notice that the suburb is missing:
Fix missing addresses
Tap the red Stops with address issues to show all the jobs in your current shift that need correction. Tap the address to open an address search tool. Start typing the address into the text box, and select the correct address from the dropdown:
Repeat this process until all of the stops with issues are resolved.
When you manually add an address, it often gets flagged a low confidence address, which means that NowGo isn't certain if the address is correct or not.
Fix low confidence addresses
Tap the yellow Stops with address issues to show all the jobs in your current shift that need to be checked. Tap the address to confirm if the location is correct on a map.
If you are sure the address is correct, tap Correct. If you want to change the address, tap Incorrect to open an address search tool. Start typing the address into the text box, and select the correct address from the dropdown.
Repeat this process until all of the stops with issues are resolved.
Fix manually identified address problems
For addresses that you have manually identified as having a problem, tap the stop to open the stop details. Tap the edit icon in the top right corner to open an address search tool.
Start typing the address into the text box, and select the correct address from the dropdown and return to the edit stop details screen:
If you want to make further fine-grained edits to the address, tap Update map point. You can click and drag the map, and pinch to zoom in or out, until you find the correct location. Tap Confirm location to save the location and return to the stop details page.
