Some things to try to help you fix any problems with the mobile app

We know that the NowGo mobile app is important to you on the road. When it's not working as it should, it can be frustrating and even impact your earnings. We're here to help you get back on track as quickly as possible.

This article lists some common hiccups and how to fix them, along with information about current versions and device compatibility. If you need an overview of the main features of the app, see the mobile app overview article.


Common problems

This section contains information about some common issues you might encounter with the NowGo mobile app. If you can't find an answer to your question here, reach out to us.

I can't log in

  • Double-check your details: typos happen to the best of us! Make sure you've entered your username and password correctly.

  • Reset your password: If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login screen. Tap I have forgotten my password and follow the instructions to send a reset email or text message. Don't forget to check your spam folder if you don't see the confirmation email in your inbox.

  • Contact your dispatcher: Your dispatcher can check your login details and reset your password using the dispatcher dashboard.

The app is running really slow or keeps crashing

  • Close and reopen the app: Sometimes a quick refresh is all it needs.

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Update the app: We're always making improvements. Ensure you have the latest version of the mobile app installed from your app store.

  • Restart your phone: Restarting your phone can often clear up glitches.

My GPS isn't working correctly

  • Check that location services are on and working: Make sure your phone's location services are turned on.

  • Check that the app can use your location: Go to your phone settings and check that the NowGo mobile app has permission to use the location services on your phone all the time. Also make sure your app location permissions are set to High accuracy or Use precise location.

I'm having trouble accepting a job

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Update the app: We're always making improvements. Ensure you have the latest version of the mobile app installed from your app store.

  • Restart your phone: Restarting your phone can often clear up glitches.

I can't sequence my route

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Check that location services are on and working: Make sure your phone's location services are turned on.

  • Contact your dispatcher: Your dispatcher can can run the sequence for you using the dispatcher dashboard.

Some of my shift data isn't synchronising correctly

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Wait before you log out: When you have finished your shift, wait about ten minutes before you log out. That gives your phone time to synchronise your data. This is especially important for synchronising proof of delivery photographs and signatures.

  • Check if there is more to synchronise: Navigate to More β†’ Settings β†’ View sync process to check if there is still data being synchronised. If there is data that can't be synchronised, you can tap Move data to recovery to make sure that anything that is able to be recovered is saved.

My stops aren't updating

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Refresh the stops page: Pull the stops page down to refresh.

  • Close and reopen the app: Sometimes a quick refresh is all it needs.

I can't scan barcodes

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Check that location services are on and working: Make sure your phone's location services are turned on.

  • Check that the app can use your camera: Go to your phone settings and check that the NowGo mobile app has permission to use the camera on your phone while using the app.

I want to do my stops in a different order

  • Try sequencing again: If you think the order is slightly out, try sequencing again to improve the results.

  • Start in a different location: If you want to start in a particular location, drive to that location and then sequence again to get a new order that starts where you are.

The app is frozen

  • Close and reopen the app: Sometimes a quick refresh is all it needs.

  • Check your internet connection: A weak signal can cause the app to lag or crash. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network, or make sure your mobile data is turned on and you have good data reception.

  • Restart your phone: Restarting your phone can often clear up glitches.

  • Force close the app: Go to your phone settings and force close the app.


Supported versions

The NowGo app is supported on mobile devices running Android 13 and above. If your device is running an earlier version of Android, consult the manufacturer to determine if they can supply a compatibility patch to bring it up to a newer version. Additionally, you can attempt to resolve compatibility issues by updating Google Chrome and the Android System Webview application.


Location services

The mobile app needs to know your location while you are logged in and using the app. If you log out of your NowGo account and close the app, it can no longer track your location.
