Fixing addresses in the dashboard

How to find and fix unrecognised addresses, or addresses that are not in sequence, from within the dispatch dashboard

Updated yesterday

Accurate address data is essential to getting the best out of NowGo. Some of the problems you might come across when addresses are low quality include:

  • Solves or sequences not working properly or giving unusual results.

  • Inaccurate or no ETAs at all on jobs.

You can fix addresses in both the dashboard and the mobile app. This article explains how to find and fix addresses in the dashboard. For information about fixing address in the app, see the fixing address in the app article. For more information about managing addresses that have been manually updated, see the managing manually updated addresses article.

Find problematic addresses

The dashboard notifies you of problematic addresses in two different ways in the Dispatch tab.

If you have addresses in the currently selected date and channel that NowGo is unable to map, a red banner is shown in the top left hand corner:

Sometimes addresses are flagged as low quality, which can result in them not being sequenced within a shift. If this happens, when you look at a shift, some stops are listed as being not in sequence:

Fix unrecognised addresses

Click Fix in the unrecognised addresses notification to open a tool to help you correct these addresses.

When you have found the correct address, start typing it into the text box, and select the correct address from the dropdown. When the map has loaded, you can click and drag the map to a more accurate location if needed. Click Mark as fixed to update the address in the shift and send the updated address to the driver, if required.

Fix unsequenced addresses

In the shift details, click the job listed as Not in sequence to see the job panel:

Click Edit to edit the job. In the Street address field, start typing the address, and select the correct address from the dropdown. Click Save changes to update the address in the job and send the updated address to the driver, if required.
